I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore.

Howard Beale, news anchorman, isn’t pulling in the viewers. In his final broadcast he unravels live on screen. But when the ratings soar, the network seize on their newfound populist prophet, and Howard becomes the biggest thing on TV.

In 2012 Patrick Myles and David Luff secured the stage rights to the Academy Award-winning film Network. Over the following five years they worked to adapt the film for the stage, assembling a world-class team of creatives, producers, actors and technicians. Network had its world premiere at the National Theatre in November 2017 and received overwhelming popular and critical success. The following year it was nominated for four Olivier awards, with its star actor Bryan Cranston winning Best Actor for his outstanding performance. In November 2018 Network transferred to Broadway’s Belasco Theatre in New York, where it played a sold-out, twice extended season, culminating in the Best Actor award for Bryan Cranston at the Tony Awards 2019.
